Description

Porto Tech Hub Logo – Bricks for the Porto Tech Community

The Porto Tech Hub (PTH) has always been about more than just technology; it’s about the people, the proximity, and the shared passion for innovation in the beautiful city of Porto. It acts as the glue that binds our local tech ecosystem, fostering a culture where competition takes a back seat to collaboration and mutual growth.

Celebrating our visual milestones has become a personal tradition for me. In the past, I’ve had the honor of building the original Association logo , the 10th Anniversary commemorative logo , and even the 2025 Conference logo . When the new visual identity was unveiled, I knew immediately that I had to translate that modern, vibrant energy into a physical form to complete the collection.

Building the Identity

This MOC was a fun challenge in capturing the sleek lines and specific color palette of the new PTH branding. Using a combination of Lime and Bright Blue bricks, my main goal was to ensure the build was as close as possible to the real logo. The only detail I had to compromise on was the gradient, which is nearly impossible to replicate perfectly at this scale with standard bricks.

  • Brand Accuracy: Careful attention was paid to the proportions of the “P” element to ensure the logo is instantly recognizable.
  • The Color Pop: The contrast between the lime background and the blue lettering isn’t just striking—these happen to be the favorite colors of Luis, the President of PTH, making this gift even more special.

This isn’t just a build; it’s a tribute to the community that keeps Porto’s tech scene thriving. Whether you’re a developer, a designer, or just a fan of great branding, this logo belongs on your shelf.

Me

My name is Eduardo Sousa.

I am an Electronics Engineer, and I absolutely love LEGO. As a kid, I got at least one LEGO set every Christmas, Easter, and on my birthday.

Recently, in April 2022, because of a challenge from the marketing team at my last company, I built the FMQ logo in LEGO—and that’s how my passion for creating LEGO MOCs truly began.
