Description
PROF Logo MOC: A geometric recreation of the PROF brand logo.
The PROF logo has a clean, maze-like structure that is a natural fit for a brick-built model. While sketching the design, I realized how well its geometric lines translate into bricks.
The goal was to create an accurate version of the logo using the minimum number of pieces. It is a straightforward build that captures the look of the original brand identity.
The main challenge was figuring out the correct distances between the openings and the walls of the maze. I worked this out by making many drawings directly on top of the original logo, much like tracing a drawing against a window to get the proportions exactly right.
Building the Maze
Most of the effort went into adjusting the layout to ensure the “maze” pattern was consistent across the entire model and faithful to the original logo.
