Description
Meet my latest MOC: a pianist that truly hits all the right notes (pun 100% intended).
But this isn’t just a build, it’s a birthday gift for my buddy Pina, celebrating 40 fabulous years (welcome to the 4-0’s, my friend!) and 22 years of us being the ultimate co-op duo in life.
Our story began at Gambuzinos music school, but things really leveled up during our freshman days at FEUP. From all-night gaming marathons to being each other’s wingmen at our weddings, we’ve faced life like true Player One and Player Two.
Why a pianist? Because Pina isn’t just a gaming legend, he’s a maestro on the keys! I’ll never forget the goosebumps when he played at my wedding while my wife walked down the aisle. Designing a LEGO piano worthy of that moment? Whew, let’s just say it took a lot of late nights, trial-and-error, and enough coffee to fuel a small orchestra.
This MOC also tips its hat to all the tech debates and geeky shenanigans we’ve shared over the years. Who else can perfectly answer, “What’s the cheapest GPU that can run everything on max settings?” every single time I ask? Or spend a full hour tweaking every single game setting just to make sure our couch co-op session is at peak performance before we even start (even if it was a pixel art game)?
Grab your bricks, channel your inner musician, and get building!
