Description

Some MOCs are just bricks… and others are full of heart.

Back in the early 2000s, my dad and I took up mountain biking together. Spoiler alert: he kept going long after I hung up the helmet. These days, he’s out on the trails every weekend, mustache blowing in the wind, camera in hand, ready to snap photos of whatever nature throws his way. So, for Father’s Day, I built him this custom BrickHeadz-style tribute: a tiny cyclist who’s big on character!

This MOC captures my dad’s signature look: the helmet he never rides without, the outfit he always insists is “practical not stylish” (sure, Dad), and of course his camera—because no ride is complete without a photo op. The pièce de résistance? That majestic white mustache, which was still mostly dark when we first started biking together.

The model is a bit nostalgic and a lot personal, but I’ve cleaned up the build and instructions so anyone can enjoy creating their own cycling icon. Whether you’re honoring a family member, immortalizing a hobby, or just really love mustachioed BrickHeadz, this one’s for you!

💪🏽Grab your bricks, gear up, and give this cyclist a spin on your own desk or shelf. Let’s build some memories!

Me

My name is Eduardo Sousa.

I am an Electronics Engineer, and I absolutely love LEGO. As a kid, I got at least one LEGO set every Christmas, Easter, and on my birthday.

Recently, in April 2022, because of a challenge from the marketing team at my last company, I built the FMQ logo in LEGO—and that’s how my passion for creating LEGO MOCs truly began.
