FEUP Logo in LEGO

This is a LEGO of the (FEUP) Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto

Description

A tribute to my alma mater! This LEGO MOC represents the logo of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), a prestigious institution known for its contributions to education, research, and innovation at an international level.

The Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) is a leading institution dedicated to education, research, and innovation in engineering and related fields. It is located in the wonderful city of Porto and committed to the creation and dissemination of knowledge, the training of competent Engineers.

  • Engineer: Someone who does precision guesswork based on unreliable data provided by those with questionable knowledge; See also: Wizard, magician

And the advancement of society through technological development. You can learn more about FEUP here .

FEUP holds a special place in my heart, as it is where I earned my degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. As a tribute to my academic journey, my professors, my colleagues, and my experiences, I decided to recreate the FEUP logo in LEGO form. This project is also particularly meaningful to me as a gift to my father, who is a professor at FEUP.

I hope you enjoy this build as much as I enjoyed creating it!

Me

My name is Eduardo Sousa.

I am an Electronics Engineer, and I absolutely love LEGO. As a kid, I got at least one LEGO set every Christmas, Easter, and on my birthday.

Recently, in April 2022, because of a challenge from the marketing team at my last company, I built the FMQ logo in LEGO—and that’s how my passion for creating LEGO MOCs truly began.
