Meet My Latest MOC: The AIGuy

Description

Ever wondered what happens when an AI genius meets LEGO bricks? Well, wonder no more! This is my latest MOC, a one-of-a-kind caricature of my colleague Pedro Abreu, the mastermind behind AI implementation at BrightFactory. If prompts were an art, Pedro would be Michelangelo! To honor his skills, I’ve built this tribute, a blocky, hoodie-wearing, bald-headed mini Pedro, accompanied by his robotic sidekick, a synthetic-brained AI companion.

This build wasn’t just for fun, it was my Secret Santa gift for Pedro! What do you get for the guy who tweaks AI models like a Jedi using mind tricks? A LEGO tribute, of course! Now he has a brick-built version of himself, along with a robotic buddy to keep him company at his desk.

Pedro isn’t just any AI specialist; he’s the architect of our digital future. So, what better way to immortalize his genius than in brick form? This MOC captures his signature look, sleek, minimalist, and full of computational power.

But the real magic? The AI companion. With its synthetic brain, it symbolizes Pedro’s work in bridging human intelligence with artificial brilliance. It’s a little futuristic, a little humorous, and 100% LEGO charm.

Building this was a joy, mixing traditional LEGO character design with some fresh robotic aesthetics. The challenge was capturing personality in bricks, turns out, a well-placed tile or a cleverly angled slope can go a long way in creating expression!

I’d love to hear your thoughts! Does your office have an AI genius deserving of their own LEGO tribute? Let me know in the comments!

Now, go grab your bricks because this is one build you won’t want to leave in the digital realm. Time to construct some AI-powered fun!

Me

My name is Eduardo Sousa.

I am an Electronics Engineer, and I absolutely love LEGO. As a kid, I got at least one LEGO set every Christmas, Easter, and on my birthday.

Recently, in April 2022, because of a challenge from the marketing team at my last company, I built the FMQ logo in LEGO—and that’s how my passion for creating LEGO MOCs truly began.
